Keeping Busy

Our sewing guild has a lot of projects and a new one was just born.   We are going to make things for the Domestic Abuse Center in Williamson County.  No one would think a county like Williamson would have to have one of these.  Money solves all problems, right?   If only that were true.

They don't seem to have as many people to care for as they did in Louisiana but that also makes volunteering for them a bit easier.

Louisiana had 40+ and here she said they have about 8 women and 8 children.

One thing she mentioned they could really use were rag dolls.   I was set to make 100.   YEA, Right!!!!!

I just finished these below and thank heavens a neighbor gave our group 8 dolls ready to dress.   Dressing them will be fun and they already have hair on them so that will be easier too.     Yesterday when I finished the last one I was exhausted and not sure I'd ever make another one but I will.
