This year has started off with some new arrivals to our house. A couple I could do without but for the most part it's been a good year.
Right before we rang in the new year, Mark arrived to live with us for awhile till he gets in this new job, pays down some bills and hopefully can buy a place of his own.
Then a NASTY cold came to visit me and that's what I could do without. I got some medication just before it turned into pneumonia and have been doing real well till today. Went shopping and had a lot of stops to make. I've been coughing all afternoon and hope it's just working it's way out of our lives for good.
The other day we were to have overnight guests. Our good friends from Mt. Carmel Illinois were going to stop by on their way to Florida. A lot of our friends do this just to remind us how lucky they are. HA HA HA
We had to ask them not to stop because he is awaiting news on a new kidney this year and I was afraid if they stopped he'd get what I had.
I had put a binding on a quilt for them and Rosanna wanted to take it to Florida with them so she could work on it down there. We made arrangements for Ted to meet them with the quilt as they passed through.
When he came home he had a beautiufl quilt rack Larry had made me. You sure could of knocked me over with a feather when Ted came carrying it in.
I know, we really don't have room right now but we will later.
